About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Environmental) to lead and manage complex environmental projects while supporting business development and client engagement initiatives. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who combines strong technical expertise with proven project management and leadership skills. The Senior Project Manager will oversee site investigations, guide multidisciplinary teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet client objectives, schedules, and budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10–12 years of relevant environmental engineering or consulting experience
  • At least 8 years of project management experience
  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional (LSRP)
  • 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and remediation practices
  • Proficiency in project scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
  • Ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts to engineering analyses

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
  • Prior construction or field implementation experience
  • Experience with industry software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Rocscience, L-Pile, GSLOPE, KeyWall, WEAP, or similar tools
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and technical documentation tools

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage environmental site investigations, assessments, and remediation projects
  • Evaluate surface and subsurface conditions and develop technical recommendations
  • Plan and execute project work programs, including defining scope, milestones, schedules, staffing, and budgets
  • Monitor project progress, control costs, and adjust schedules as needed to meet project goals
  • Prepare and review technical reports, design documents, bid packages, and proposals
  • Coordinate internal project teams and oversee staff assignments across project phases
  • Review work products for compliance with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and client contracts
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Lead and manage proposal development, including preparation of cost estimates and schedules
  • Participate in business development, marketing efforts, and client relationship management
  • Mentor and train junior staff and contribute to team development
