About The Position

Team Credo is looking for a Senior Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our mission to transform connectivity at scale. This role will lead and enhance Credo's global environmental, health, and safety programs while supporting our commitment to operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and employee well-being. The position will play a critical role in supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 certification efforts, developing scalable management systems, and ensuring our offices, laboratories, and operational environments remain safe, compliant, and effective. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate across functions and regions while helping shape EHS programs that support Credo's continued growth. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or a related technical field. Equivalent combinations of technical education and relevant EHS experience will also be considered.
  • 5+ years of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) experience in semiconductor, electronics, manufacturing, laboratory, or similar technical environments.
  • Experience developing, implementing, and managing EHS programs across multiple facilities or business locations.
  • Experience supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and/or ISO 45001 management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and ANSI standards applicable to office, laboratory, and industrial environments.
  • Experience conducting facility inspections, compliance audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Experience developing EHS policies, procedures, training programs, and compliance documentation.
  • Knowledge of hazardous materials management, hazardous waste regulations, chemical safety, and emergency response programs.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple regions.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certification such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or equivalent.
  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, research and development, or laboratory environments.
  • Experience supporting global facilities and international EHS compliance requirements.
  • Experience building and maintaining integrated management systems supporting multiple ISO standards.
  • Familiarity with document control, business process documentation, and management system implementation.
  • Experience supporting laboratory safety programs, chemical management, and engineering work environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to program development and compliance management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Credo's global Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) programs and management systems.
  • Support the maintenance and continual improvement of Credo's ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management systems, including documentation, internal audits, certification activities, corrective actions, and management reviews.
  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, and records required to support regulatory compliance and management system objectives.
  • Conduct EHS assessments, compliance audits, facility inspections, and risk assessments across office, laboratory, and operational environments.
  • Drive EHS initiatives across Credo's global facilities and partner closely with Facilities, Engineering, Operations, and laboratory teams to ensure facilities, equipment, and work environments meet applicable regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Manage programs related to hazardous materials, hazardous waste, chemical safety, contractor safety, emergency preparedness, ergonomics, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Develop and manage EHS training programs and training matrices in partnership with the People team to ensure employees receive appropriate training based on job function, work activities, and location-specific requirements.
  • Support facility expansions, laboratory modifications, equipment installations, and new site readiness activities by providing EHS guidance and oversight.
  • Evaluate regional EHS requirements and implement site-specific compliance programs while maintaining consistent global standards across Credo locations.
  • Monitor EHS performance metrics, compliance obligations, and emerging regulatory requirements, and provide reporting and recommendations to leadership.
  • Foster a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.
