Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or other related engineering field.
  • Minimum 7+ years in EHS leadership roles within manufacturing; experience managing complex, preferred multi-technology sites.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety standards (29 CFR), ISO systems, and sustainability frameworks.
  • Ability to influence and engage at all organizational levels.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • NEBOSH, CSP, or equivalent certifications highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute EHS&S strategies aligned with global and local objectives.
  • Serve as the primary advisor to management on EHS&S compliance, risk mitigation, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Lead the EHS&S implementation and capability-building across the organization.
  • Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate reporting for regulatory agencies and corporate sustainability programs.
  • Drive proactive safety programs, including incident prevention and emergency preparedness.
  • Manage safety training requirements, ensuring proper assignment, scheduling, and completion.
  • Lead plant safety committee and foster employee engagement in EHS initiatives.
  • Implement ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 50001 standards.
  • Monitor sustainability performance indicators and report to senior management.
  • Benchmark best practices and promote continuous improvement in EHS&S systems.
  • Lead investigations of safety-related incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Support business continuity planning and emergency response activities.
  • Direct and develop EHS&S team members, including Training Coordinator and other support roles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, People & Culture, Engineering) to integrate EHS&S into daily processes.
