About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Engineer, Geologist, or Scientist to join our Central Region Environmental businesses in Baton Rouge, LA; Houston, TX; Dallas, TX; or Golden, CO. In this role, you will contribute to our Contamination Assessment & Remediation service line by coordinating and implementing environmental solutions and projects. You will work with an energetic and high-performing team, engaging in a variety of tasks including technical correspondence, proposal preparation, report writing, work plan development, project permitting, environmental regulation interpretation, data analysis, client management, business development, and staff mentorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or related field
• 10+ years of experience in environmental consulting, including environmental remediation and site assessments, report writing, data management & interpretation, project coordination, and managing clients
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work both within a team and independently
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability and willingness to travel to client meetings is required

Nice To Haves

• PE or PG will be highly regarded
• Project experience in federal contracts is beneficial
• Experience in coordinating and simultaneously managing multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail in a consulting environment is preferred
• OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Preparation of technical correspondence, project proposals, reports, work plans, and project specifications
• Coordinate and implement project permitting
• Interpretation/evaluation of environmental regulations
• Data compilation, reduction, and interpretation
• Management of clients
• Development of business opportunities
• Mentorship of staff
