About The Position

Support consultation and engagement activities, contributing to clear, respectful, and effective communication processes. Assist with proposal development, including technical inputs, work planning, and cost estimates. Contribute to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency across all project deliverables. Mentor and support junior and intermediate staff, contributing to knowledge sharing and team development. Promote a positive and collaborative team environment through teamwork and open communication.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related environmental discipline (environmental science, engineering, ecology, or environmental policy/law).
  • 7-12+ years of experience in environmental assessment and permitting in BC or a relevant Canadian jurisdiction.
  • Strong understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulatory and permitting frameworks.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting EA processes and preparing regulatory applications and technical reports.
  • Experience working within an environmental consulting environment.
  • Strong technical writing and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to travel within Canada as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Indigenous consultation and stakeholder engagement processes is an asset.
  • Understanding of international environmental and social impact assessment standards is an asset.
