About The Position

The Senior Environmental Analyst will act as a partner in EH&S by formulating and administering EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management. Primary responsibilities, with oversight, will include: Support the implementation of environmental compliance protocols, such as data reporting requirements/methodology to encourage consistent and compliant behavior for site. Working closely with internal resources, consultants and regulatory services to review and interpret EH&S regulations. Collaborating with site professionals to address environmental compliance issues. Conducting training/educational programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Support the sites water compliance program and related projects, as assigned. Conduct onsite wastewater sampling as required by permit or other environmental regulation. Performing tasks associated with sites environmental compliance as a member of the Site EH&S team. Ensure compliance with internal and external waste regulations, including permitting, reporting, and internal documentation. Support EH&S Compliance Assurance audits by RTX, Pratt & Whitney, or regulatory agencies for assigned programs. Conducting Environment Health and Safety inspections and analyzing audit findings to develop corrective actions and achieve and maintain safe work practices. Investigating environmental events to identify root causes and develop corrective actions. Support the implementation of strategic EH&S initiatives and coordinates/drives the necessary tactical resources/elements to achieve and maintain successful implementation. Maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, reports, and corrective actions. Assist corporate, third-party audits, inspections, and regulatory inspections. Provide technical direction to line management including council subcommittee teams for effective execution of goals and objectives. Provide oversite and direction to the sites Management of Change program. Travel is up to 10%.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or other Sciences with 2 years of experience or in lieu of degree 6 years of experience.
  • Regulatory Water program experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
