About The Position

Jack Morton develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a Senior Environment Designer to join our team. A Senior Exhibit / Environmental Designer provides creative solutions for meeting client needs and objectives using exhibits and exhibit-related projects as a sales and marketing tool. Be involved with projects from beginning-to-end based on ability to understand sales process, production operation and value of product.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university in Industrial Design, Architecture, Scenic Design, or other relevant degree; and 7-10 years’ experience in a relevant design role or similar experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Expert knowledge in 3ds Max and V-Ray and knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Responsibilities

Design environments and exhibits across various brand and industries
Own the design process from concept through production
Translate brand guidelines and marketing objective into immersive 3D environments
Provide design and visualization support to design team leads
Ability to manage several projects simultaneously
Able to create photo realistic renderings
Present concepts to internal stakeholders and clients in a clear concise way
Be responsible, organized, and accountable your work and deadlines
Understanding of materials and building techniques
Ability to read construction drawings
Translate feedback and apply to work
Collaborate within the Creative department and across the organization
Communicate with clarity, confidence, competence, professionalism and authenticity
Stay current with design trends and apply them to work where relevant
