  • Growth mindset with the ability to receive feedback, adapt quickly, and continuously improve architecture and delivery practices.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to instill client confidence, explain complex technical concepts clearly, and influence decision-making.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide architects, technical leads, developers, and delivery teams through complex solution decisions.
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills, with the ability to assess tradeoffs, identify risks, and recommend pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create clear architecture documentation, technical narratives, and client-facing recommendations.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and architectural dependencies.
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed, outsourced, and in-house development teams.
  • Minimum of 10 years of enterprise-scale design and implementation experience in software development, with deep knowledge in at least two of the following technical disciplines: cloud computing, cloud-native architecture, application development, integration architecture, middleware, data architecture, or enterprise platforms.
  • Proven Azure or AWS expertise; proficiency in both is highly advantageous.
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise architecture patterns and principles, including Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, Domain-Driven Design, N-Tier Architecture, API-first design, and composable architecture.
  • Competency in enterprise architecture, middleware, integration, data flow, cloud, and system context diagramming.
  • Ability to audit, assess, and document existing architectures and ecosystems, identifying gaps, pain points, risks, technical debt, and opportunities for modernization.
  • Experience and understanding of modern API design patterns, API governance, authentication, authorization, versioning, and lifecycle management.

  • Guide backlog definition and prioritization by translating architectural decisions into actionable epics, features, user stories, and technical work items.
  • Facilitate client discussions on enterprise architecture best practices, including scalability, resiliency, security, maintainability, performance, and operational readiness.
  • Provide deep expertise across platforms, cloud architectures, integration patterns, design patterns, and enterprise solution practices.
  • Mentor architects, technical leads, and senior developers to strengthen architectural thinking, technical quality, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders, delivery teams, and internal leadership to ensure alignment, transparency, and smooth project progression.
