About The Position

The Senior Engineering Services Professional manages shop associates and engineering services operations at the Valway Complex. The role oversees preventive maintenance, equipment calibration and troubleshooting, associate training, quality-system records and procedures, and building maintenance. It also coordinates projects with Process Improvement Engineers and completes other projects assigned by the Plant Manager. The position requires compliance with environmental regulations and Milliken environmental policies, including established guidelines for chemical use.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage shop associates, including scheduling, work assignments, and safety.
• Manage preventive maintenance of all machinery to assure reliability.
• Manage calibration procedures.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and assure proper solutions.
• Facilitate training of Engineering Services associates.
• Maintain relevant Valway Complex Quality System records and procedures.
• Manage proper building maintenance.
• Coordinate projects with Process Improvement Engineers.
• Work on other projects as assigned by the Plant Manager.
• Understand environmental impacts and aspects of job-related activities; follow guidelines for chemical use and comply with environmental regulations and Milliken Environmental Policies and Rules.
