The Senior Engineering Scientist will conduct research involving the characterization of uranium and support ongoing sponsored research activities within the Walker Department of Mechanical Engineering. Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
10 years’ experience as lead engineer for sponsored research programs.
Experience with advanced rotating electrical machines and composites.

Contribute to technical execution and documentation of ongoing sponsored research.
Manage sponsored research projects and provide technical leadership to other research staff and students.
Maintain and develop research funding, prepare and submit proposals to expand the research funding base.
