Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in building science, construction engineering, architecture, civil engineering, or a related field.
• Three (3) years’ experience as a project manager in a related field with demonstrated knowledge of architectural and engineering design operations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of specific hospital construction projects, both onsite and offsite for the Atlanta area.
• Report on work progress and budget matters to leadership.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, other construction and building specialists as well as internal departments within Northside Hospital from the schematic phase through the completion of the project.
• Utilize analytical skills for planning large-scale, multi-step projects.
• Make decisions such as picking contractors, architects, interior designers, materials and equipment selection.
• Be an effective leader.
• Communicate effectively through writing and speaking when communicating with employees, writing proposals, directing contractors, and coordinating multiple activities.
• Utilize technical skills, including familiarity with construction methodologies, space planning, budget estimating, and comprehension of construction drawings and specifications.
• Ensure that everything is on time and moving smoothly, managing several projects concurrently.
