Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, project management, program coordination, or technical leadership delivering complex, cross-functional initiatives
  • Proven track record of working in the methodical, structured, and well-documented manner expected in a highly regulated industry
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional relationships
  • Experience managing and reporting V&V activities
  • Exposure to lean practices such as 8 wastes, Gemba, process mapping, and value stream mapping
  • Demonstrated professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels
  • Excellent computer skills and comfort with project management tools and platforms
  • This position serves the Manufacturing Engineering group, which includes the need to work on export-controlled products from aerospace and defense customers
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 10%25 of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated proficiency in supporting manufacturing operations in the medical, industrial or aerospace industries under FDA/ISO 13485 or AS9100
  • PMP or PRINCE II certification
  • Experience with Smartsheet, M365 Suite, and PowerBI
  • Experience with additive manufacturing in a production environment

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders to understand project requirements, validation needs, and certification expectations, translating them into actionable project objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project scopes, timelines, and detailed plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams, ensuring technical feasibility and resource alignment.
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Apply operational excellence principles to deliver effective manufacturing solutions.
  • Develop procedures, work instructions, and process optimizations required to complete projects with high quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Write and execute Verification and Validation (V&V) test protocols and final reports.
  • Coordinate product realization processes that balance speed-to-market with quality, managing internal resources and external vendors for flawless execution.
  • Monitor and measure project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies, providing regular, robust updates to leadership, clients, and external teams.
  • Mitigate project risks proactively while managing changes to scope, schedule, and costs through established verification and change control processes.
  • Document and maintain comprehensive project records, escalating issues to management when needed and ensuring transparency across all project phases.
  • Applied understanding of applicable quality management requirements and practices; ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, AS9100, NADCAP, etc.
  • Applied understanding of applicable regulatory standards for export controls and handling of government contracts (e.g. ITAR, EAR, etc.).
