About The Position

This Engineering Program Manager (EPM) role will be primarily responsible to lead SW Programs including Cloud Infra programs within Campus and Branch program mgmt team. EPM will lead a cross-functional team across multiple functions like SW, Test, PLM, Technical publications, customer services and other Application teams driving all the end-to-end deliverables from concept to delivery. There will also be opportunity and requirement to work on HW programs as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
  • 10-12 years of experience in IT product-based company preferably in a Telecom/ Networking domain
  • 7+ Years of Program management experience, preferably with 5+ years leading SW/Cloud programs
  • Excellent technical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Must be a “go getter” and drive deliverables and issues to closure with high sense of urgency in this face paced environment
  • Expert in using JIRA, Confluence, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project/Smartsheet
  • Have experience in using repository and managing access for documents

  • Scrum Master (SCM) certification

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional teams across SW and Cloud programs delivering features
  • Manage multiple programs simultaneously
  • Establish and manage cross-functional teams across PLM, SW, Systest, Technical publications, customer service to drive deliverables across all the phases in NPI PLC
  • Identify cross-functional interdependencies and risks, and successfully plan and manage those interdependencies and risks
  • Adept at leading various levels of team members, managers, and executives to deliver NPI programs
  • Update and maintain program status, milestones, budget, risk and program schedule on a regular basis
  • Communicate program status and drive escalations with senior leadership to keep scope, schedule, budget within tolerance
  • Review and optimize critical path and schedule considering multiple interrelated projects and any risks that materialize
  • Lead and drive HW programs and critical initiatives as needed
  • Cross-team coordination, project management and ability to present to executives
  • Demonstrated experience in handling multiple concurrent complex projects from concept stage to delivery
  • Manage scope, budget estimates (Heacount and Non-headcount), and schedule
