The Senior Engineering Program Coordinator role supports the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering programs across multiple teams, reporting to an Engineering Program Manager or Engineering Operations leader. This position is crucial for maintaining program schedules, tracking actions and dependencies, facilitating communication, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of engineering activities. The successful candidate will enhance collaboration, improve operational effectiveness, and contribute to the successful achievement of engineering objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience coordinating projects, programs, or operational activities within an engineering, technology, or technical environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience maintaining schedules, action trackers, risk logs, and status reporting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Proficiency with common project management, collaboration, and productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively across distributed teams.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hardware, software, semiconductor, or other complex engineering programs.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and governance practices.
  • Experience creating dashboards, metrics, and management reporting.
  • Understanding of engineering product development lifecycles.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate engineering program activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, risks, issues, and action trackers.
  • Organize and facilitate regular program meetings, reviews, and status updates.
  • Track progress against agreed deliverables and highlight risks or delays in a timely manner.
  • Support program managers and engineering leaders with planning, reporting, and governance activities.
  • Ensure actions, decisions, and dependencies are documented and communicated effectively.
  • Prepare dashboards, reports, and presentations to provide clear visibility of program status.
  • Assist with resource planning, workload tracking, and coordination across engineering groups.
  • Drive follow-up activities to ensure commitments are completed and stakeholders remain aligned.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of program management processes, tools, and ways of working.
  • Support onboarding of new team members into program processes and operating rhythms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help resolve operational and delivery challenges.
