About The Position

Holder Construction is seeking a Senior Engineer to join its Project Controls team at the regional office in Bloomington, Illinois. This is a full-time, in-person position. The role supports project cost control, forecasting, cash flow, billing, change management, document control, contract reporting, project workflows, and performance metrics.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related construction field.
Up to 5 years of commercial construction experience.
Strong knowledge of construction industry practices, codes, regulations, and standards.
Outstanding communication, time management, and computer skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Collaborate on and execute project cost projections and forecasting, including coordination with MEP subcontractors.
Support internal and external project cash flow management.
Ensure timely and accurate owner billing by establishing review and billing-submission processes.
Oversee change submissions and compliance with prime contract requirements.
Establish and manage internal and external change-review processes.
Monitor change-management backlog reporting and metrics, including quantity, magnitude, and aging.
Assist with document control for correspondence, drawings, and specifications.
Generate deliverables required by prime contract reporting requirements and manage their timely submission.
Support development of workflows for RFIs, submittals, material status, design management, risk management, quality, and closeout.
Monitor and adapt processes for project Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
