About The Position

The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Senior Engineer for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract. YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE / TOP SECRET PREFERRED.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in a science, engineering, technology, or math discipline
• 15 years’ total experience with engineering US Navy platforms or weapon systems
• Active DOD Secret Clearance / Top Secret preferred

Nice To Haves

• Degree area is in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or other technical area directly relevant to radar engineering, electromagnetic effects and interference, communication engineering, or electromagnetic passive sensing
• Direct experience with engineering support for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS.
• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), digital engineering principles, and MBSE tools/frameworks (e.g., Cameo, DoDAF, etc.)
• Prior SIPR account and experience using SIPR systems
• Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for design, development, production, and in-service activities including system analysis, combat system integration, modeling and simulation, and participation in requirements development and maintenance
• Provide technical inputs in Safety and Electromagnetic Environment Effects (E3) areas including reviewing and analyzing plans, schedules, tests, test results, and data packages
• Assist in managing digital efforts such as DevSecOps and Agile development-related activities
• Prepare technical documentation, senior-level briefings, and other reporting requirements
• Participate in program and technical review meetings related to combat and weapon system integration, cybersecurity, and weapon system effectiveness
