About The Position

The Senior Engineer will build the future on-vehicle communications and software execution frameworks for autonomous vehicles. The role develops internal communications libraries, network metrics systems, and tools to visualize data flow. It also develops runtime monitoring and diagnostics to monitor autonomous vehicle status and help ensure safety. The engineer ensures the performance, repeatability, reliability, and testability of advanced algorithms and autonomous functionality. The role drives implementation of the system-monitoring framework, monitors the health of the autonomous vehicle fleet, and designs and implements infrastructure that enables high-performance autonomy components to operate reliably across fleet-scale vehicles.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a closely related technical field.
At least two years of working experience in software development for autonomous robotics.
Experience with C++.
Experience with C.
Experience with Python.
Experience with software engineering principles, including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, and testing methods.
