About The Position

DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer in Cary, North Carolina, to perform end-to-end maintenance of payments applications and hosted infrastructure for the Corporate Bank. The role requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent, and five years of progressively responsible financial services industry experience across requirements documentation, application and infrastructure maintenance, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and change analysis.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent.
• Five years of progressively responsible experience within the financial services industry.
• Experience analyzing and drafting business requirement documents, including application runbooks, disaster recovery plans, deployment and release plans, and test plans.
• Experience deploying, upgrading, and maintaining financial applications, including Linux server patch management and version upgrades.
• Experience with effort estimation and low-level design for new solution requirements.
• Experience with system analysis and high-level design.
• Experience developing and deploying applications with Oracle databases, shell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• Experience coding business solutions using HTML, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, and Linux system servers, and using Java, Postman, JavaScript integration with HTML, and Splunk.
• Experience with stress testing, load testing, unit testing, and quality reviews of code and test plans.
• Experience performing component and system integration testing and deployment activities, and using shell scripts for testing.
• Experience developing content mapping and change impact analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payments applications and hosted infrastructure for the Corporate Bank end to end.

• Deploy, upgrade, and maintain financial applications, including Linux server patch management and version upgrades.
• Estimate effort and create low-level designs for new solution requirements.
• Perform system analysis and create high-level designs.
• Develop and deploy applications using Oracle databases, shell scripting, JavaScript, HTML, and XML.
• Code business solutions using HTML, XML, SQL Server, Oracle, and Linux system servers, with Java, Postman, JavaScript integration with HTML, and Splunk.
• Conduct stress, load, and unit testing, and review code and test plans for quality.
• Perform component and system integration testing and deployment activities, using shell scripts for testing.
• Develop content mapping and change impact analyses.
