This role involves designing and developing high-performance test solutions for products, covering first silicon verification, characterization, qualification, and manufacturing of precision digital and mixed-signal products for Automotive customers. The engineer will design, develop, and debug multi-site, cost-effective test hardware/software solutions for characterization, qualification, and production wafer probe and final test. They will also design, develop, and implement cost-effective methods of testing, evaluating, and troubleshooting systems and equipment for all phases of product development and high-volume manufacturing. Responsibilities include defining test schematics, working with layout engineers on PCB design, debugging test programs, correlating production test solutions to bench measurements, and transferring solutions to manufacturing sites. The role also requires engaging with manufacturing to maintain yield and quality, improve test costs, and resolve product/test issues. The engineer will participate in new product development teams, evaluate new test systems, and collaborate with Design and Systems/Applications engineering teams to develop and implement a Design for Test plan. Managing project schedules aligned with product introduction is also a key aspect. A partial telecommute benefit is offered (2 days/week work from home).
