The engineer will estimate, track, own, and report on project technical, cost, and schedule aspects. Additionally, they will mentor and coach other team members in project execution and perform all phases of the system development lifecycle, including requirements capture, system design and modeling, integration with hardware and software components, and system validation and verification. Collaboration with external customers is key for documenting operational scenarios, developing system requirements, defining system interfaces, and performing system validation testing. Internal collaboration with other engineers is also crucial for documenting derived requirements, defining internal system interfaces, developing system architectures, integrating system components, and performing system verification. The role also includes identifying and recommending process, system, and product improvements to enhance performance and efficiency.
