Position Summary: Collaborate on a team to design and engineer complex mechanical products from concept through production, collaborating across internal teams, external suppliers, and vendors to deliver high-quality outcomes on demanding timelines. This role is a remote position and reports to the Head of Product Design on the Concept Team at Analog Devices.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent 4-year undergraduate degree).
5+ years of experience designing and engineering mechanical products.
Demonstrated technical aptitude and hands-on experience designing injection-molded, sheet metal, cast, and 3D-printed components, as well as complex mechanical assemblies.
Proficiency with SolidWorks for part and assembly design, 2D drawing creation (GD&T), and industry-standard specification practices.
Ability to generate manufacturing-ready outputs, including files used for rapid prototyping and 3D printing workflows.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

Design and engineer complex mechanical products from concept through production.
Collaborate across internal teams, external suppliers, and vendors.
Deliver high-quality outcomes on demanding timelines.
Assist in driving complex projects.
Make critical engineering decisions.
Rapidly iterate concepts from early prototypes through refined designs.
Create and maintain technical documentation for design controls throughout the FDA submission process.
Communicate clearly and professionally using email, text, and Microsoft Teams to enable effective project collaboration.
Communicate effectively with external suppliers and vendors (domestic and international).
