Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
  • Experience leading process improvement, automation, or new product introduction initiatives.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience using data and databases to drive decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing strategy and execution for new product development programs, ensuring products are designed for efficient, scalable production.
  • Drive transformational process improvements that increase productivity, quality, capacity, and operational performance.
  • Champion automation and advanced manufacturing technologies, partnering with equipment suppliers and system integrators to implement innovative solutions.
  • Influence product and process decisions through Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Automated Assembly initiatives.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering projects from concept through production launch, balancing scope, schedule, budget, and business objectives.
  • Solve complex manufacturing challenges through data-driven root cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions.
  • Identify and deliver cost savings, capacity improvements, and operational efficiencies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop compelling business cases and capital investment proposals that support long-term growth and manufacturing capability.
  • Serve as a trusted technical leader, mentoring engineers and helping elevate manufacturing engineering best practices across the organization.
  • Partner with leadership to support strategic planning, technology roadmaps, and future-state manufacturing initiatives.
