About The Position

The Senior Engineer, LNG/LPG Compliance has multi-state responsibilities to support the development and implementation of the compliance programs and activities for all the Eversource LNG/LPG facilities in MA and CT. The Senior Engineer acts as project leader and/or carries out assignments requiring mastery of subject matter and extensive experience in the compliance requirements associated with the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas systems and facilities. Senior Engineer, LNG/LPG Compliance supports the LNG/LPG Lead Engineer in the ownership and maintenance of the regulatory compliance programs, ensures strategies, procedures, and assurance processes are in place to address compliance activities and requirements including, but not limited to Eversource, local, and federal requirements. The position will take lead in the developing, implementing, and maintaining our governance, risk management, and compliance program. Additionally, the Senior Engineer must understand the regulatory aspects of the Eversource LNG Facilities regarding security, safety, training, maintenance and operations in accordance with 49 CFR Part 193 and NFPA 59A.

Requirements

  • Mastery of subject matter in compliance requirements associated with the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas systems and facilities.
  • Extensive experience in compliance requirements associated with the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of gas systems and facilities.
  • Understanding of regulatory aspects of LNG Facilities regarding security, safety, training, maintenance and operations in accordance with 49 CFR Part 193 and NFPA 59A.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of compliance programs and activities for LNG/LPG facilities in MA and CT.
  • Act as project leader and carry out assignments requiring mastery of subject matter and extensive experience in compliance requirements for gas systems and facilities.
  • Support the LNG/LPG Lead Engineer in ownership and maintenance of regulatory compliance programs.
  • Ensure strategies, procedures, and assurance processes are in place to address compliance activities and requirements.
  • Take the lead in developing, implementing, and maintaining the governance, risk management, and compliance program.
  • Understand regulatory aspects of LNG Facilities regarding security, safety, training, maintenance, and operations in accordance with 49 CFR Part 193 and NFPA 59A.
