About The Position

The Security Engineering team advances Franklin Templeton’s cybersecurity capabilities by designing, implementing, and operating enterprise security solutions that protect sensitive systems and data. The team works closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce security policies, regulatory compliance, and least-privilege access principles. Team members collaborate across functions to integrate privileged access management (PAM) and identity and access management (IAM) solutions, respond to security incidents, and continuously improve security tools and processes. The environment emphasizes innovation, shared ownership, and continuous learning, offering opportunities to work on complex security challenges and deliver high-impact cybersecurity services.

Requirements

  • Proven experience designing and deploying secure, scalable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity and identity roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing.
  • Proficiency in scripting using Perl, Python, and Linux/Unix.
  • Experience with security automation and device configuration.
  • Familiarity with SOAR, SIEM, CASB, AWS, and Azure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).
  • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM).

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain privileged access management solutions.
  • Integrate PAM with identity and access management systems.
  • Enforce least privileged access policies.
  • Monitor and manage privileged accounts.
  • Respond to PAM-related security incidents.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to customers, projects, and PAM applications.
  • Serve as a team lead, offering training, guidance, and ongoing support to team members.
  • Administer and monitor security profiles.
  • Investigate security violations and exceptions.
  • Manage the lifecycle of security tools.
  • Conduct security assessments and ensure compliance.
  • Design and implement secure infrastructure solutions.
  • Facilitate vulnerability management and threat assessments.
  • Maintain runbooks, playbooks, and platform standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
  • Mentor junior team members.
