About The Position

The Senior Engineer - Industrial Control Systems Technical Lead will serve as the technical authority for the development and delivery of Project Infinity control systems. The role defines the overall control-system architecture and guides multidisciplinary teams in delivering integrated, secure, reliable, and operationally ready solutions aligned with program objectives, system architecture, and the product breakdown structure. It combines industrial automation expertise with systems thinking, technical leadership, and project execution. The position leads control-system architecture, requirements development, engineering documentation, system design, platform and vendor selection, and coordination of technical execution. It provides design oversight and mentorship to engineers, supports planning and risk management, and oversees system integration, verification, validation, testing, commissioning, and operational readiness. The role also ensures regulatory, industry-standard, cybersecurity, and company-process compliance, as well as consistency across control-system work products. The position is based in Knoxville, Tennessee, with a hybrid work policy. It reports to the Director of Electrical and Software Engineering. The role is permanent and full time.
