About The Position

AtkinsRealis USA Inc. seeks a Senior Engineer III in Tampa, FL. This role involves defining project scope with full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, and executing engineering project assignments. The engineer will select engineering problems for investigation, developing novel approaches and solutions to technical problems. Responsibilities include conducting quality control checks, reviewing engineering calculations, designs, evaluations, and specifications for accuracy and completeness. The role also requires performing onsite inspections and reviews, conducting or overseeing remedial design work, and staying abreast of state-of-the-art methods and developments. Recommendations for changes or improvements to engineering plans and programs will be made. The position may function as a project manager for routine to semi-complex projects and may be assigned to unanticipated work locations throughout the United States. Relocation to within a reasonable commuting distance of the job opportunity is required.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Six (6) years of experience in job offered or in a related occupation.
  • Academic training or work experience in Project Management.
  • Academic training or work experience in Coordination of projects with municipal and state agencies.
  • Academic training or work experience in The Design of Roadway, Signing and Pavement Markings Plans.
  • Academic training or work experience in Microstation, Geopak, AutoTurn & GuidSign.
  • Academic training or work experience in Design Software ORD.
  • U.S. Professional Engineering License

Responsibilities
