About The Position

Microchip is seeking a Senior Engineer to join our cybersecurity effort. This is a hands-on role with huge growth potential in the Semiconductor cybersecurity industry. Requirements

  • Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering degrees with a minimum of 7.5 years of relevant experience with semiconductors or semiconductor cybersecurity.
  • Relevant semiconductor experience areas would include Semiconductor product development or MCU/MPU applications or SOC architecture or design or SOC verification or SOC validation.
  • Relevant cybersecurity experience would include Knowledge of cybersecurity standards like ISO/SAE 21434, IEC 62443, etc.
  • Experience working on Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment for Semiconductor devices or systems is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Tools like Polarion, JIRA, bitbucket, etc.
  • Hands-on SW tools or system development or testing experience.
  • Project Management experience, working with multiple project teams.
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of ISO 26262, ASPICE and other SW development standards is a plus.
  • Cybersecurity Certifications from independent auditing/certification providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead New product development implementation of cybersecurity standards across multiple MCU projects
  • Guide product development discipline leads on cybersecurity execution queries
  • Collaborate with experts and Develop threat models/Threat analysis and Risk Assessment(TARA) to analyze cybersecurity risks for different MCU secure configurations, including life cycle management support.
  • Support Internal and External vulnerability Analysis and Triage.
