The Product Engineer serves as a central technical owner connecting Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Operations, and business teams to drive product success. The position supports product quality, reliability, manufacturing readiness, product validation, and sustaining activities. It involves evaluating product and manufacturing data, resolving customer issues, managing cross-functional projects, communicating technical results and risks, and improving product-development and NPI practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Materials Science, or a related technical field; an advanced degree or equivalent experience is welcome.
  • 5–7.5 years of experience in semiconductor product engineering or a closely related technical role, with familiarity across test, validation, design support, manufacturing, quality, applications, or operations.
  • Solid understanding of analog, mixed-signal, or semiconductor product fundamentals, and the ability to learn new technologies and apply engineering judgment across the product lifecycle.
  • Ability to lead technical work, manage priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, and move projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including interpreting data, identifying trends, isolating root causes, and recommending practical solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment, product debug, test data, validation, characterization, or manufacturing support.
  • Ability to read and interpret datasheets, design specifications, test plans, qualification reports, and customer requirements.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to summarize complex technical topics for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with analog or mixed-signal semiconductor products, including amplifiers, data converters, power-management devices, sensors, interface products, and automotive or industrial ICs; product engineering experience is an advantage.
  • Understanding of semiconductor test methodologies, including ATE testing, characterization, bench-to-production correlation, yield analysis, and test optimization; hands-on experience is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing and product lifecycle processes, including reliability, qualification, failure analysis, wafer fabrication, assembly, final test, and product-change management; direct experience is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of structured problem-solving and quality methodologies, including 8D, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, Six Sigma, root-cause analysis, and corrective-action systems; practical application is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as Excel, Power BI, JMP, Python, MATLAB, Jira, Confluence, LabVIEW, PCB-layout tools, or equivalent platforms; proficiency with one or more tools is an advantage.
  • Understanding of project planning, risk management, and cross-functional execution within a product-development environment; experience leading technical deliverables is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ownership, collaboration, initiative, and a desire to grow into broader technical leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Support product quality, reliability, and the manufacturing readiness process.
  • Work with Design, Test, Applications, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product lifecycle.
