About The Position

The Senior Engineer of Data Integration is responsible for system integration, data ingestion, transformation and validation, coordination of integration activities and maintenance of these integrated systems. This role will be responsible for dealing with multiple data formats, but primarily healthcare data formats like HL7 v2.x. This individual must have working knowledge of the HL7 standards, the architecture of integration platforms, and the complexities of healthcare application integration to maximize the use of the interface engine and promote best practices during interface development.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of related experience
  • Strong Epic Bridges experience (coding or integrations)- highly preferred
  • Working knowledge of Healthcare Interoperability Protocols & Frameworks: HL7 v2/v3, X12, FHIR, JSON, etc.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Epic Bridges for healthcare data integrations using HL7-based interfaces.
  • Ability to participate in multiple projects at the same time.
  • Strong analytical and business analysis skills.
  • Ability to perform workflow analysis and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience maintaining and optimizing back-end processes.
  • Data profiling, transformation and validation experience
  • Expert working knowledge and experience of DBMS
  • Must be inquisitive and demonstrate openness to innovation including AI to explore better processes and ways to alleviate friction and improve patient and client experiences.

Nice To Haves

  • Preference given to candidates with Unix, Linux, TCL, Java, .NET, Azure and SQL expertise

Responsibilities

  • Design and document integrations to and from client revenue cycle systems and the Ensemble Health Partners Data platforms.
  • Consulting and performing analysis of Epic Bridges and the Cloverleaf integrations.
