About The Position

Entegris is seeking a Customer Quality Engineer to join their team. This dynamic and cross-functional role involves interaction at multiple levels within customer, Entegris, and supplier organizations. The position is high impact, high output, and high visibility, requiring a calm-assertive demeanor and the ability to manage multiple, ever-changing priorities. This role can be based at their Bedford, MA or Danbury, CT sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electric/Electronic Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in an engineering role in quality, process, equipment, or materials, ideally within the semiconductor industry (other manufacturing industries will be considered).
  • Experience managing issues and projects between internal stakeholders and customers, including experience with escalation.
  • Project management experience with a focus on closing gaps between company capabilities and customer needs.
  • Experience with applicable quality tools such as Pareto, FMEA’s, SPC/SQC, histograms, trend analysis, process mapping, design of experiments, cause and effect diagrams, and 8D problem-solving methodology.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and alternate work shifts to balance workload across North America and Asia scopes of responsibility.
  • Experience working and communicating between North America-based manufacturing facilities and Asia-based support teams and customers.
  • Ability to travel 10% to 50% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers, sales teams, and factory/product/supply chain/quality teams.
  • Execute CQE responsibilities as defined by CQE Policy documents, Entegris business processes, account-specific support plans, and as led by CQE management.
  • Support the Materials Solutions Division.
  • Participate in varying levels of engagement with customers and company teams on Problem Solving, Change Management, Customer and Internal Audits, Project Development, Product Support and Development Programs, and other cross-functional tasks and projects aligned with Entegris and Customer goals.
  • Be part of a global team designed to improve Entegris' success with customers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams at varying levels and degrees of complexity across a vast range of products, regions, and companies (customers and suppliers).
  • Demonstrate excellence in planning, execution, discipline, learning, leadership, and teamwork (exemplify Entegris PACE values).
  • Provide support for various documentation expectations such as business process documents, item tracking, performance reporting, and continuous improvement project management.
