About The Position

As a Senior Engineer – Automation, you will develop innovative automation solutions that improve engineering efficiency, accuracy, and productivity across utility-scale renewable energy projects. You will independently design, develop, and maintain engineering tools, custom software, scripts, data pipelines, and AI-enabled workflows to streamline design, estimating, and project engineering processes. The role involves collaborating with civil, structural, geotechnical, electrical, and electrical studies teams to identify automation opportunities, solve technical challenges, and simplify engineering workflows. You will lead automation initiatives from concept through deployment, working with cross-functional teams to integrate technologies, improve data accuracy, reduce manual processes, and enhance engineering quality. You will automate engineering workflows for project design, estimating, and execution; develop and maintain tools and applications end-to-end; translate engineering and business needs into technical requirements and solution designs; interface with data pipelines, APIs, databases, and system integrations; and implement AI and machine-learning capabilities, including LLM workflows, document review, and data extraction. Minimal travel is required. A valid driver’s license is required. The position is remote.
