Senior Engineer, Advanced Operations
About The Position
This role is for a Senior Engineer, Advanced Operations at Stryker Robotics, focusing on leading the process development for new product development. The engineer will be responsible for driving design for manufacturability reviews, identifying, auditing, and developing external vendors to meet quality standards, developing manufacturing and inspection processes, and qualifying equipment and validating critical processes and inspections to ensure a reliable production process. Additionally, the role involves managing prototype builds, lead times, and budget to support project milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
Nice To Haves
- Previous manufacturing experience
- Experience reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and understanding geometrical dimensioning and tolerancing
- Experience with process development, controls and inspection- (e.g. Flow Chart, PFMEA, Control Plan, Validations and Measurement System Analysis)
- Project management experience
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry
- Experience managing external vendors
- Experience with GDT, DFM, and Gage R&R
