They are developing APIs to integrate debt repayment into any product and are on a mission to maximize wealth for underrepresented populations. As a Senior Engineer at Rightfoot, you will have the opportunity to develop and scale life-changing technology for millions of people. The role involves working in an ambiguous environment, collaborating with engineers and executives, and designing infrastructure that will have a long-term impact on the company.
Responsibilities
- Develop and scale APIs that integrate debt repayment into any product
- Standardize and streamline debt payments by integrating with loan servicers
- Maximize wealth for underrepresented populations
- Develop and implement novel payment rails for debt accounts
- Improve underwriting and prevent defaults through real-time data and smart payment technology
- Engage customers at the individual level and provide tools to lift borrowers out of debt
- Collaborate with engineers and executives to define a new space in fintech
- Design and implement infrastructure that will impact the company for years to come
- Support public API and internal microservice development
- Deliver best-in-class developer tools
- Grow as an engineer, professional, and leader as the company grows
