Requirements

Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance or related field and 4-7 years of experience or in lieu of bachelor's degree, 6-9 years of relevant experience.
Familiarity with wholesale marketplace, OATTs and PJM business rules
Familiarity with restructured retail marketplace and ComEd retail tariffs
Strong interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions

Nice To Haves

Pursuit or completion of MBA
Utility industry experience.
Experience with wholesale energy markets, energy procurement, renewable energy compliance, and regulatory reporting.
Strong understanding of electricity and natural gas supply contracts, pricing structures, and risk management concepts.
Experience working with suppliers, regulatory agencies, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex operational issues.
Demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets and identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, modeling, and reporting.
Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to effectively present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Knowledge of utility operations, supplier management, and energy settlement processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Management responsibility for the detailed design, testing, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes for generating load estimates, verifying and submitting energy schedules, submitting capacity obligations and network service billing determinants and calculating and submitting 60-day reconciliations under PJM. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes.
Management responsibility for the detailed design, testing, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes for wholesale supplier and PJM statement accrual, billing and financial reporting and performance of mark-to-market and collateral processing under wholesale supply agreements. Ongoing responsibility for performing processes.
Management responsibility for the design, implementation, on-going performance and documentation of the business processes for verifying generation and tie-line values with neighboring market participants as part of the zonal check-out process under PJM. Ongoing responsibility for performing daily processes.

Annual salary will vary based on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: $90,400.00/Yr. – $124,300.00/Yr.
