About The Position

The Senior Trauma Tech is responsible for coordinating and performing a broad range of technical duties supporting patient care in ED services to facilitate patient flow. This includes assisting with patient triage, obtaining vital signs and specimens, assisting the physician with the application and removal of casts, splints and wound care, providing support to physicians during patient exams, assisting patients with hygiene, elimination and comfort measures, and preparing patients for transport. The role also involves maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies, performing quality control, and basic troubleshooting of equipment.

Requirements

Preventative Management of Assaultive Behavior (PMAB) within 30 days of hire
Must be able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Minimum 2 years of related experience as an Emergency/Trauma Technician
EMT and/or Paramedic license
Basic Life Support certification
Must be able to provide proof of work authorization

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated patient care experience, preferably in an acute care setting
Bilingual skill, either Spanish or Vietnamese to communicate effectively with patients and families
