About The Position

The Senior Embedded Software Engineer – Cyber (secure systems) designs, develops, and integrates advanced cyber-secure embedded software for satellite avionics and payload data processing systems. The role works closely with Systems, Hardware, and FPGA engineers to deliver secure, rugged, reliable, and low-SWaP aerospace products. It also provides technical mentorship and subject matter expert guidance to development and test teams. The engineer develops software for multi-core processors integrated with FPGAs and for ARM Cortex and RISC-V architectures using C/C++. Work includes embedded Linux and RTOS configuration, secure networking and cryptographic implementation, hardware-interface integration, software-hardware debugging, system validation, and formal configuration and release management. The role translates system and customer requirements into software designs, applies relevant government security standards, and contributes to development-process improvements. The position requires an active U.S. security clearance. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. The position is onsite, as indicated by the listing’s #LI-Onsite tag.
