About The Position

We are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This role involves full lifecycle software development, including designing, developing, and troubleshooting embedded software on target hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in C/C++ development, experience with real-time operating systems, and a passion for creating innovative solutions. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
  • 5+ years of C/C++ software development experience.
  • Prior experience writing embedded software (C, C++, and/or Ada).
  • Experience with real-time operating system integration (e.g. Green Hills, Wind River, Lynx).
  • Prior experience troubleshooting/debugging on target hardware in lab/mock-up environments.
  • Proficient with Linux and Windows development environments.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Dev/SecOps tools and CI/CD workflow (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Ability to professionally communicate project status and collaborate on technical solutions with clients and peers.
  • Experience with incorporating independently developed algorithms into embedded software.
  • Full lifecycle software development experience.
  • Active Secret DoD security clearance.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficient with Atlassian Tools (Confluence, JIRA, Bitbucket, etc.).
  • Proficient in Python development.
  • Linux kernel and system modules (Peta Linux on Ultra Scale +).
  • Familiarity with network architecture and data management.
  • Familiarity with Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools (Cameo, AADL).
  • Experience with Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), ARINC 653 and flight software development.
  • Experience with safety-critical software development and practices (DO-178C).
  • Experience communicating and documenting complex technical designs.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative and team-based environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities
