Senior Embedded Software Engineer

EOS Defense Systems USA, Inc•Huntsville, AL
•Onsite

About The Position

EOS Defense Systems USA is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and integrate embedded software solutions for Remote Weapon Systems across multiple programs. The role bridges hardware and software, including development of multi-platform software for Line-Replaceable Units (LRUs), command-and-control (C2) interfaces, and discrete electrical signals to enable remote operation of weapon systems. The engineer will work closely with electrical engineers, reviewing PCB schematics and component datasheets to ensure hardware supports software requirements. The position involves embedded software architecture and development across bare-metal, FreeRTOS, and Embedded Linux environments; support for DSP-based motor-control software and a Java-based Fire-Control System; and integration with EO/IR and radar systems. The engineer will work cross-functionally and travel as required to support customer reviews, field integration, and live-fire test operations. This is an on-site position at EOS Defense Systems USA's Huntsville, Alabama facility.
