About The Position

This position is for a technical leader who enjoys code architecture and guiding concepts from inception to fruition. The role involves architecting, developing, and verifying manageability firmware running in an embedded RTOS for dense server platforms. The firmware is productized in reference designs and ODM designs and used by internal debug teams, validation teams, and customer teams. The role calls for technical expertise and vision for manageability to maximize scalability across platforms and reduce time to market.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience in firmware development.
• Prior experience developing firmware for system management controllers.
• Experience integrating with platform, BIOS, and OS components.
• Experience developing in an embedded Linux OS.
• Programming skills in C and assembly.
• Demonstrable debugging skills.
• Experience working on Agile and milestone-driven product development.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with IPMI, DCMI, and SMASH standards.
• FreeRTOS experience.
• Ability to work with hardware debugging tools such as JTAG, I2C bus analyzers, and scopes.
• Experience in source control and build management.

Responsibilities
