About The Position

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Senior Electronics Technician to provide critical technical support for the Applied Technology Automated Test system. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain equipment calibration standards, build test harnesses, maintain ATE systems, troubleshoot test failures, and manage documentation. The position requires foundational knowledge of RF and analog systems, proficiency with standard test equipment, and working knowledge of Python programming.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Ability to demonstrate printed circuit board assembly experience to include soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology.
Foundational knowledge of RF and analog systems.
Proficiency in operating standard test equipment, including Signal Generators, Power Supplies, Power Meters, Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
Working knowledge of Python programming for automated tasks.
Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contractors.

Responsibilities

Build and wire complex test harnesses and fixtures based on technical specifications.
Maintain ATE systems through regular MOL activities and proactive system health checks.
Troubleshoot basic automated test failures to minimize downtime and ensure reliable data collection.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage equipment calibration schedules and maintain accurate documentation.
