Sr Electronics Engineer

Albers Aerospace•McKinney, TX

About The Position

Albers Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated Senior Electronics Engineer to support the detailed design, development, integration, and testing of advanced electronic systems for defense applications. The work focuses on mixed-signal electronics, embedded control circuitry, power management, and safety-critical electronic systems, including Electronic Safe and Arm Devices (ESADs) and related technologies. The engineer will lead electrical designs throughout the product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through qualification and production transition. The role calls for hands-on work moving designs rapidly toward fieldable systems and collaboration across disciplines. In a fast-paced, rapid-development environment, the engineer is expected to make sound technical decisions with incomplete information, mature designs, solve integration problems, and balance performance, schedule, cost, producibility, and risk. The position also includes technical guidance for junior engineers and engineering technicians and support for selecting and procuring electrical components, including engagement with partner suppliers throughout the lifecycle. Duties may not be limited to those listed, and the scope of the job may change based on business demands. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
