About The Position

Teledyne FLIR is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer in Niceville, FL to support the design, development, and testing of advanced infrared camera systems. The role focuses on high-performance PCB design and development, with FPGA firmware design experience preferred, and involves collaborating with other engineers and technicians on product improvement and new product development. The Senior. Electrical Engineer will apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical/electronic system designs. They will contribute to the design, development, and testing of infrared cameras including electrical equipment, components, and/or systems. They will be exposed to high-tech infrared camera development projects that demands a high-level of engineering and problem-solving skills.

Requirements

BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering
At least 5 years of PCB design experience
Experience with Altium Designer PCBA design tools
Experience using Microsoft Office Tools required
Good problem-solving, communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.
