About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking a Senior Electronic Technician to support program efforts at the West Desert Test Center (WDTC) at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG), Utah. The WDTC is a major DoD Test Facility supporting chemical and biological defense testing. This role involves maintaining and repairing electronic test equipment, analyzing circuits, troubleshooting systems, and supporting chamber testing operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the calibration, operation, maintenance, and repair of electronic test equipment/instrumentation on various control circuitry, including flow control and monitoring equipment, temperature, and monitoring control circuitry.
  • Experienced with analyzing circuits and making system calculations to determine proper design changes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Must be able to assess complex test instruments and techniques relating to test fixtures, control systems, and data acquisition systems in support of chamber testing.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot data acquisition software.
  • A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
  • Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
  • Must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain this clearance throughout employment.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
  • All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate, operate, maintain, and repair electronic test equipment/instrumentation on various control circuitry, including flow control and monitoring equipment, temperature, and monitoring control circuitry.
  • Exercise independent judgment in performing tasks such as making circuit analyses of existing systems and making system calculations to determine proper design changes.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
  • Assess complex test instruments and techniques relating to test fixtures, control systems, and data acquisition systems in support of chamber testing.
  • Troubleshoot data acquisition software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
