About The Position

The position of an Senior Electrician is responsible to maintain electrical services by diagnosing and repairing electrical problems. A Senior Electrician I will perform work as required to maximize the quality of the Company while maintaining the specified expectations of the client and ensure safe working environment while performing work and will conduct all Company business in accordance with Company policies and procedures. This position will maintain professionalism throughout all business dealings, both internally and externally.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years’ experience with advanced knowledge in electrical engineering obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education.

Nice To Haves

Petrochemical/ refinery experience.
First Aid and CPR trained.
Class “A” driver’s license and a clean MVR.

Responsibilities

Install electrical components, run conduit and wire and completes the field installation of electrical equipment.
Organize work by receiving and studying work orders, gathering tools and supplies.
Diagnose electrical problems by studying diagrams, manuals and specifications; troubleshooting systems; conducting tests.
Repair electrical problems by replacing faulty parts and components.
Maintain electrical systems by conducting systems tests and completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Keep supplies ready by placing orders through the appropriate channels.
Maintain safe work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with all codes and regulations.
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
Accomplish maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Maintain poise and focus under time constraint and adverse conditions.
Attend and complete trainings as required by the Company and client.
Pass all required drug/alcohol testing and background requirements.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
