About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Senior Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities in a complex, 24/7 manufacturing environment. This role involves planning, prioritizing, and assigning work, overseeing troubleshooting and repairs of electrical systems, and partnering with other teams to ensure safe, reliable plant operations and continuous improvement. The position requires ensuring compliance with all relevant policies and fostering a culture of accountability.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience, including leadership or supervisory responsibility.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including high-voltage distribution, MCCs, motor maintenance, VFDs, transformers, and grounding systems.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical, automation, and control systems, including PLCs and 24V/120V control circuits.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate work across multiple departments and develop teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates with an engineering degree and less experience may also be considered.
  • SAP, SCADA, robotics, or industrial automation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate daily electrical maintenance activities to ensure safe, reliable plant operations across a complex, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
  • Plan, prioritize, and assign daily, weekly, and monthly work activities while providing clear direction, coaching, and support to electricians and supervisors.
  • Oversee troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance of electrical power, control, automation, and instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to plan repairs, support capital projects, and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulatory requirements, collective bargaining agreements, and company policies while fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
