About The Position

PureGrid Electrical is looking for a Senior Electrical Project Manager who is a proven leader, strategic thinker, and driven by flawless execution. You are an exceptional communicator and strategist who thrives on overseeing complex, multi-million dollar electrical projects, driving financial performance, managing risk, and maintaining tight control over schedules and resources. You excel at translating complex designs into high-yield execution plans, maintaining strong client and general contractor partnerships, and mentoring project personnel. If you are a collaborative leader who values safety, profitability, and precision, and you enjoy a fast-paced environment where you can take total ownership of major industrial electrical scopes from estimation through commissioning, you’ll fit right in.

Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of progressive project management leadership within the electrical subcontracting industry, with a proven track record managing large-scale industrial or heavy commercial electrical scopes ($5M–$20M+).
  • Deep technical mastery of industrial electrical distribution systems, power systems, medium/high voltage equipment, NEC compliance, and complex single-line drawings.
  • Advanced proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6 or MS Project), and financial/cost-control platforms.
  • Strong business acumen, executive-level communication skills, high-level negotiation ability, and a decisive, solutions-oriented leadership style.
  • Ability to travel as needed to oversee strategic job sites across the country during critical project milestones.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred; Master Electrician license or equivalent extensive trade leadership experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Lead overall financial, operational, and safety success for large-scale, complex industrial electrical projects, maintaining full P&L accountability from preconstruction through final closeout.
  • Serve as the primary senior executive contact for owners, general contractors, engineering firms, and key stakeholders, driving client retention and securing high-value repeat business.
  • Direct, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and project administrative staff, fostering high standards of execution and supporting professional career growth.
  • Manage overall project profitability, cash flow forecasting, risk mitigation, major subcontracts, high-stakes change order negotiations, and monthly billing approvals.
  • Oversee procurement strategy for critical long-lead power distribution equipment (switchgear, transformers), mitigating supply chain risk through strategic vendor negotiations.
  • Partner closely with Field Operations Managers and General Superintendents to optimize labor allocation, resolve high-level field bottlenecks, and ensure uncompromised safety and quality standards.

Benefits

  • Industry-leading performance-based bonus program
  • Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)
  • Traditional and Roth 401k
  • Tuition reimbursement for associates
  • Scholarship for associates’ children up to $28,000 per child
  • 1-month paid sabbatical after every five years of employment, plus $5,000 for travel
  • 1-week paid volunteer leave each year
  • 100% charitable match
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • Paid parental leave
