Senior Electrical General Manager

SoBro ConstructionHillsboro, OR
$140,000 - $180,000Onsite

About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrical General Manager to lead our electrical projects from initiation through closeout. This role offers significant autonomy and direct interaction with ownership, with compensation directly tied to project performance. The ideal candidate will be technically proficient, financially disciplined, and adept at client and general contractor relationship management. This is an opportunity to make a substantial impact in a lean, growing company with interesting and challenging projects.

Requirements

  • 7–10 years of electrical project management experience, including commercial and/or industrial projects in the $1M+ range
  • Technically fluent: strong on electrical materials and methods, code, and reading and marking up drawings
  • Capable estimator: can do takeoffs, price change orders, and pressure-test a bid
  • Financially disciplined: knows job cost systems, builds honest projections, and manages to margin, not just to schedule
  • Client-facing and commercially sharp: comfortable negotiating change orders, holding a GC relationship, and turning a well-run job into the next one
  • Present and reachable during the work day — for the field, for clients, and for the team
  • Self-directed: comfortable in a lean company with real autonomy and real accountability, without layers of process to hide behind

Nice To Haves
