Position Overview As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including: Hyperscale Data Centers Mission Critical Facilities Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities Distribution Centers Large Commercial Projects You’ll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 4+ years of electrical estimating experience
- Experience in: Mission Critical / Data Centers, Industrial Construction, Large Commercial Construction, Design-Build Projects, Fast-Track Construction Environments
- Accubid Anywhere or similar estimating software
- Bluebeam
- Microsoft Excel
- Blueprint and specification interpretation
- Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
- High attention to detail and organization
- Strategic and analytical thinking
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with a solutions-oriented mindset
Nice To Haves
- Post-secondary education or industry certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates
- Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews
- Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams
- Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts
- Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects
- Identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving strategies
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners
- Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems
