About The Position

Our team is growing and looking to add an experienced electrical engineer team member to our Health & Science Team with a minimum of 15 years of design experience, ideally with experience in healthcare design. Requirements

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam, REVIT, SKM Power tools/ETAP/Easy Power, and AGI32 software
  • Work collaboratively with other disciplines and coordinate with production staff
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in the MEP industry, ideally healthcare experience (or similar projects)
  • Professional Engineer Licensure is preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code
  • Technical experience with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM Power tools, and electrical modeling software
  • Power design of medium and low voltage, including panel schedules, layout, circuiting, and controls
  • Perform load calculations, voltage drop, arc flash, and circuit breaker coordinator studies
  • Design of electrical one-line diagrams and power distribution systems
  • Design of lighting systems
  • Develop electrical specifications and construction cost estimates
  • Conduct periodic job site observations and quality control tasks
  • Communication with project leads, clients, and contractors
