Senior Electrical Engineer
About The Position
A Series A climate robotics company is hiring a Senior Electrical Engineer to design, integrate, and scale electrical systems for large robots that construct solar farms. The company is moving from its first deployed systems into full-scale manufacturing and has million-dollar contracts in place. The engineer will own electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs, and work hands-on in the shop with technicians to wire, test, and troubleshoot machines intended for desert deployment. The role will also help establish electrical standards for the company’s next five systems and a new manufacturing facility. The position is on-site four days a week in the East Bay.
Requirements
- Three to ten years of hands-on electrical engineering experience with large physical systems such as robots, vehicles, or aircraft.
- Hands-on experience with wiring, harnessing, and integration.
- Ability to select and integrate motors, drives, sensors, and PLCs.

- Robotics, electric vehicle, or autonomous vehicle experience.

- $165,000–$190,000 base salary plus equity and profit sharing.
